About Lawrence
Bio
Lawrence R. LaBee IV is an email marketer, brand consultant, online entrepreneur, and all-around pet lover. In 2006, while attending Southern University, Lawrence’s Sophomore year was interrupted by Hurricane Katrina. Graduation came in the midst of 2008’s housing crash and our country’s subsequent Great Recession. Lawrence started freelancing after finishing his M.S. in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University at a time when all digital marketing taught previously was rendered obsolete by the rise of social media. For 10 long arduous years, Lawrence navigated a particularly harsh career landscape with no foreseeable employment options due to a lack of experience, until he encountered a mind shift towards creating his own opportunities with the digital tools available to him. He transitioned from film and television into various lanes of web development until he’d find himself set within the wonderful world of email. In 2018, he co-founded a marketing agency called Opens and Clicks. When Lawrence isn’t helping online entrepreneurs make positive impacts, he’s teaching people how to find profitable work in marketing. Lawrence, his wife DeiAnne, and their twins live in Dallas, Texas.
